Chris and Melinda Rangel
Chris and Melinda Rangel have owned Ultimate Martial Arts in Newton, KS, for over 30 years. Chris has over 50 years of experience in martial arts and trained hundreds of martial artists. As school owners we have watched many families capture the moments of their family member's martial arts achievements. This rack was designed to celebrate those accomplishments and to ensure that they are remembered as milestones in your martial artist's life.

Chris has a martial arts base in taekwondo. Learning the art of taekwondo in his grandfather’s garage, Chris continued his training and later opened his own school in 1994. After returning from his service in Desert Storm, Chris competed in the famed All Armed Forces World Class Athlete Program and Team USA for Taekwondo.

Today his martial arts school features classes in taekwondo. Modern Arnis, MMA, K-1 Kickboxing and BJJ.

In addition to helping Chris run the martial arts school, Melinda teaches full-time at Tabor College and enjoys running half marathons with her daughter, Jenna.

As a mom of two children who did martial arts all their lives and a wife of a martial artist, Melinda understands the importance of documenting their martial arts successes. It's easy to forget the significance and details of their belt test and promotion and this belt rack helps families remember those accomplishments.
